I have a purebred 6 lb cream colored Chihuahua available to stud. He is a proven stud and his last litter had 6 healthy puppies. He has an excellent temperament, is very well mannered and extremely friendly. To save time and since I have been answering the same questions over and over again I thought I would include a FAQ in my ad. Please read this in its entirety before contacting me. STUD FAQ

1) "Could you meet me (behind Safeway / at a park / in Fallon /at my house in Yearington)?"

No,I don't travel.


2) "Last time I bred my female it didn't work. What's to say this won't happen again?"

Most times I hear this the female dog's owner thought 15 minutes behind Safeway would be sufficient. The facts are that it takes anywhere from 3-5 days with the male from the time she is willing to accept a male mounting her until she will no longer do so. She is ovulating over this period of time and an knowledgeable, ethical stud owner would never mislead you into believing one session was all that was needed. In addition, I'm willing to offer 1 free return service if she fails to whelp. Provided that she has had an examination at 40 days since her last breeding from a vet and is found to not be pregnant.


3) "I'm not comfortable leaving my female with you." or "I don't want to come back every day."

You don't have to leave your dog with me (though I would recommend it) you could come back every day if you wanted to. You could also board your female with me for free. (you supply your own food and kennel)


4) "I don't have any money to pay you, would you accept a puppy as payment?"

Nope, I've been burned that way. Toy breeds tend to have small litters and the temptation to renege has proven too much for some people.


5) "Does my female have to be a Chihuahua?"

No, but I would recommend that she be under 12lbs to allow for proper height.


6) "Is your stud fully vaccinated?"

Yes, and your female should be as well.


7) "Do you live in Downtown Reno?"

No, I live in Cold Springs which is North of Stead. It's in the same town that the casino Bordertown is located. The new zip code here is 89508.
