Boxer Mix Age: 1.5 Years Size: Medium (50 lbs) Gender: Male Dogs: Yes Kids: Yes Cats: No Came in: 11/08/08 Bradley is(to the best of our guesses) a Boxer/Australian Cattle dog mix. Being a mix gives Bradley advantages that other Boxers don't have. He has a longer muzzle which means he can exercise for longer periods and breathe hotter and colder air with more tolerance than most boxers. His coat is thicker, allowing him to enjoy running and playing in the snow. Bradley will stay outside for hours with you - running and playing and chasing snowballs. Most boxers will run outside, pee, and make a bee-line for the door to come back in before you have a chance to shut it! He is VERY energetic and would love a farm, or a runner, or a bike rider as his new best friend. Bradley loves most other dogs, but being a typical boy, he likes females more then males. He fancies himself a ladies man, but in reality, he's more the dork that THINKS he's cool. Bradley loves water and will play in a pool, in the hose, in the sprinklers or anywhere else he can find it - including muddy puddles. He isn't the best dog is you're a clean freak. He is the best dog if you're a fun freak. If you want a dog that will play with you, hike with you, snowshoe with you, and be a constant athletic companion, Bradley is your man!! We do not adopt out dogs as gifts Our adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under 6 months old: $250 Dogs and Puppies over 6 months old: $200 Senior dogs over 6 years old: $150 Boxers and Buddies is operated 100% by the help of volunteers. The volunteers spend their spare time helping dogs in need find new homes. Our volunteers have families, jobs, and dogs on their own that keep them very busy. They help when they can, so please be patient with our volunteers. If we don't get back to you in a timely fashion, don't hesitate to send a reminder email our way and we'll do what we can to get back to you. We do not have a 'shelter'. All dogs in need of homes are either in their surrendering home, a foster home, or at a boarding facility. As much as we want the dogs in rescue to be rehomed as quickly as possible, we all have time and area constraints that can sometimes slow the process down. Please know that we take rehoming dogs very seriously and want to make sure all of the dogs we place go to the right families. That can take time, so again, please be patient.
