Golden Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Guppy

Guppy came to Dog Town when he was run out of El Dorado County (CA). He and his partner, Onyx, had gotten out of their yard when the snow was especially high, and got into a fight with a neighbor's dog. The other dog received some puncture wounds, but nothing too serious. His owner was forced to give him up because she could not afford the licensing fees, so we took Guppy in and he has been a very nice dog.Guppy is not good with young children or around people who move fast and come at his face. He would do best in a quiet home with older kids, or none at all. He can be a bit bossy with other dogs, but he does great with some of our more submissive females. He's got good manners, does not jump on people, or bark very much, and would just like to have a nice quiet home and a lot of love.
