Description
*** COURTESY LISTING *** THIS PET IS IN A PRIVATE HOME. PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL THE PERSON LISTED. DO NOT CONTACT WARF AS WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFO. Special Dalmatian Wants to Love You! (Sacramento area)HI. My name is Tammy and a wonderful lady pulled me from a shelter on my very last day in Ventura County. She could not stand the idea of me ending my days in a scary cage with strangers surrounding me. I miss my family so much even though they used me to produce lots of babies. They must have loved me to a certain extent because I got scared on Fourth of July and ran out of the apartment complex. They picked me up at the shelter but once I got home changed their mind and took me back! They had kids who I loved very much. I like to just sit and be petted. My last family did not bother to teach me hand signals because I am DEAF or bother to exercise me since I am wee bit round. Since my foster mom got me she's getting me to exercise more on her 3 acre ranch. I love running around chasing the birds, nosing up to the horses, skipping around like a puppy again. My foster mom can't quite tell how many years young I am but at least 10. Since she started me on glucosamine and Rimadyl I am spry and lively again! I am very well house broken not an accident once in the house. My foster mom lets me out first thing in the morning and I run back inside because I know I get my yummy glucosamine tablet as a treat. I am on a low fat California Natural Chicken & Brown Rice diet, this stuff is yummy! Later in the day she wraps my Rimadyl in cream cheese. Later in the evening I get carrots to nibble on or an occasional watermelon. I really like these fruits and veggies. I really want a new family that will love me the rest of my life! I love to curl up at your feet while you're on the computer or watching tv. If you let me on the couch I will snuggle up next to you, ditto on the bed. Right now I have to share attention with my foster mom's other Dalmatians. They're great but I want to be the center of your world! I walk really well on a leash, my foster mom is teaching me hand signals to sit, stay, etc. Some dogs can learn up to 70+ signals! I don't bark b/c I can't hear anything to cause me to do so! I know my foster mom thinks I am sleeping when she sneaks in / out of the bedroom ;-) I am vacc'ed, spayed, micro-chipped, my teeth are good and I recently had a full check-up w/blood panel which my vet said I am in excellent health. My foster mom needs a rehoming fee to help offset my costs and also put towards rescuing another Dalmatian at another Kill Shelter. There are so many of us right now and not enough angels like her! The sooner I get a new home, the quicker she can rescue another Dalmatian. E-mailspottedfurkids@yahoo.com or call 916-213-2626.
