Drake came to Sugarland Ranch as a very young, 12 month old beautiful fawn, neutered Old English Mastiff. He has grown with us here at Sugarland and is now 18 months old, a handsome Mastiff puppy. He was relinquished by his Owner due to his unacceptance of their small children. He tends to attach to men more easily than women, however, if given enough time, he certainly attaches and loves female staff here at Sugarland Ranch. He must be rehomed with adults, absolutely no children. He can get along with other dogs with the proper integration. Drake will need on-going training that began once he came to Sugarland Ranch. The staff absolutely adore him, he requires patience with introductions to new people. Once accomplished, he is wonderful. His requirements include a secluded, sedate home with adults, a fenced secure yard for his outside time. Mastiffs love being with their human companions.Big Red Bear is a mahoghany Mastiff/Rhodesian Ridgeback cross. Big Red came to us through Washoe County Animal Services. He is a beautiful young neutered male, full of energy with a great disposition. Big Red has a history of being an escape artist and has attempted to scale our 6 and 8 ft. fences here at Sugarland. His needs include continued training give his age and size as well as a family who is familiar with large breeds and their special needs. He may do well in an environment with alternative fencing and lots of space to patrol and protect. He is quite a love.Stella Bear is a 2 1/2 to 3 y.o. spayed, apricot Mastiff/Golden Retriever cross. She is about 100 lbs., full of energy, protective, beautiful disposition, loves water, outdoor activities, needs on-going training with her size, age and energy level, adult family recommended w/out children. She has a beautiful apricot, silky coat likely borrowed from the Golden Retriever side, beautiful black mask She is seeking her forever home where she be loyal, loving and bring the right human absolutely wonderful companionship.Brigit recently came to Sugarland. She is a gorgeous, large spayed, 2 1/2 fawn, female Old English Mastiff. She is a little reserved initially, protective, good with other large dogs if properly integrated; however, she has told us that she prefers being the center of attention and with a family that understands giant breeds and is willing to devote their total attention to her needs.
