Please contact our office for specific requirements.LCAS Policy on Adopting Staffordshire Terriers (Pitbulls) or anycross-breed.Our adoption policy for Staffordshire Terriers is designed to ensurepermanent, loving and safe homes. While the history of the breedincludes using the animal for "baiting" or "fighting", the dogs todaycan be admired for their strength, loyalty and impressive physicalappearance. Their successful placement is dependent upon the provisionof proper training and socialization. To be considered for the adoptionprocess, you MUST:1. Be at least 25 years old.2. Have a 6' (minimum) fenced yard. The fence must be made ofsuitable material and in good repair for containing the animal and preventing escape.3. Not have any children less than 12 years of age living in the home.4. Agree to "At-Will" checks from the Lyon County Animal ServicesStaff.
