Lilly is one of 2 horses recently rescued from being euthanized. Lilly spent most of her life in an equestrian program as a hunter/jumper and is very experienced in both Western and English. Lilly was recently deemed unsuitable for the equestrian program due to her age. Lilly is a beautiful sorrel mare approximately 16 hands. Lilly has a bit of arthritis in one elbow and a bit in her back but is still suitable for light riding and does not require any medication. Lilly likes people a lot but does not board well with other horses and should be housed separately. She would make a great rescue pet for someone looking for a light riding/kids horse and would be a great only horse as she prefers people to horses. She was recently wormed and immunized with 3-way and West Nile on 3/16/07. She is currently shod on the front and will be due for trimming about 7/31, at which time her shoes can be pulled. Lilly is allergic to straw and LRS (Lactate Ringer Solution) Fluids (IV solution used to rehydrate a colicky horse). Lilly cross ties only as that is how she has been handled in the past, however she loads like a dream.
